What do I bring to my appointment?

Dress, shoes, and any undergarments/ shapewear wear you plan to wear with the dress.

 

When should I schedule?

Mother of the bride and bridesmaids should be scheduled two to three months in advance. Alterations should begin between 5-10 weeks before the wedding.

Prom and pageant gowns should schedule two to four months in advance. Alterations should begin between 5-10 weeks before the event.

 

How many fitting appointments are needed?

Most gowns can be completed in two to three fittings.

Gowns with higher complexity or customizations may require additional appointments.

 

What is your turn around time?

General alterations for formal gowns are four to six weeks.  For other simpler alterations, it takes two to three weeks.

Do you offer steaming or preservation services?

No, we do not.

 

How much will alterations cost?

Costs are variable and will fluctuate based on the garment and alterations complexity.

Initial alteration appointments are complimentary; if after receiving a quote you do not wish to move forward with us, then all pins will be removed, and the garment returned.

 

When and how do I pay?

Full payment is required when the quote is given for the alterations.  The quote will be given at the time of the first alteration appointment.

Can I cancel or reschedule?

Yes, you can reschedule an appointment the first time or if the appointment is rescheduled a week in advance.
